Dear Sheila and Carl,
I'm
so sorry to hear about your loss. I know how upsetting and discouraging
you must feel right now. There comes a time in life where we don't understand why
things happen the way they did in our lives that leaves a mark of disappointment and
confusion.

Just
exactly like the roller coaster of mixed emotions. Right now, I am still feeling the sting and pain when I lost my dad, like I have a huge hole in my heart that will never be full again. It's an off and on thing where sometimes I just find myself sobbing, waking up at night with a wishful thinking that the reality of losing my dad, was all but a dream.
As
human being we may experienced tragedy that causes us, great sadness or
extreme sorrow losing who is so dear and so loved by us, and perhaps, it brings a
question in our hearts, "why did it have to happen? We may not understand His
purpose, we may not have all the answers, but we just have to trust His
will.
Shiela, we are grieving with you right now with your loss, as I pray that God will fill that hole in your heart with God's love and tender mercies. No matter what happens to us, God’s comfort can still reach down and touch us.
"Death leaves a heartache, only God can heal,
love leaves a memory no one can steal."
I
think the only thing I can appreciate in life even with our loss and
time of adversity, He is nearer to the broken hear-ted. He is closer to you right now more than ever.
I pray that you will find peace in Gods promises and warm embrace to comfort you in this time of sorrow, as we continue to look unto Jesus. We love you Shiela, and the rest of your family. Hugging you tightly...

"The Lord also
will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And
those who know Your name will put their trust in You; for You, Lord,
have not forsaken those who seek you."

"And He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore, most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ will rest upon me.'"- 2 Corinthians 12:9
